ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking enthusiastic and outgoing Graduates to join our well-established team to help provide innovative sustainable solutions to our clients across a range of sectors and countries.
Working in marine, coastal and riverine environments for over 40 years, Intertek Metoc has built a record of excellence in delivering a diverse range of environmental, sustainability, energy transition and specialist studies for the offshore wind, marine renewables, submarine cables, water, oil & gas and other sectors. As a company, our services have evolved, and continue to do so, providing our clients with the best solutions, delivered with the environment at their core. We undertake a range of environmental studies and assessments, including EIA, SEA, HRA, marine studies, coastal and water quality modelling, site appraisal, carbon management and GIS specialisms. Our graduates work across the business, gaining key skills and experience across various sectors and projects which helps them gain maximum sector knowledge to develop a fulfilling and dynamic career.

The successful applicant will have:
- BSc/BEng/Meng/MSc in a relevant science or engineering discipline
- Desire to develop a career in a growing and leading consultancy
- Numeracy skills
- Interest in marine / coastal / riverine sectors and environmental management and sustainability
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft office packages
Additional desirable skills
- Knowledge/awareness of marine / coastal / riverine environmental issues
- Knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
- Knowledge of programming languages / data analytical tools (eg Python / Matlab)
